Homend, no. 11 The Seven Stars

The Seven Stars is one of the oldest inns in Ledbury. This timber-framed, two-storey, late 16th century building suffered a disastrous fire in 2001 and much of the original structure was lost. The framing on the front of the building survived along with the door frame. The south-west room was reported to have a plaster ceiling with fleur-de-lys, rosettes and Tudor roses. This is a two storey building with a first floor jetty that has been underbuilt and a small pentice created. The bressummer has a simple ovolo moulding as have the jambs of the main doorway. There are voluted brackets at the tops of the doorway jambs although these have been somewhat mutilated.
