Halling, Kent Road looking south

Halling, Kent Road, looking south. The houses on the right are part of New Town, built during the later nineteenth century for the increasing workforce of the lime and cement industries. Those on the right were demolished in the 1980s to make way for a by-pass and a bridge over it.
