Church of St Michael and All Angels

The church has Anglo-Saxon origins. The present building contains some Norman work, but is mainly of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Among its most notable features, it has a fine twelfth century west door and a detached bell tower. It was restored in the Victorian period.

It was formerly dedicated to St. Peter.

Probably once a minster church, St Michael's is now the centre of a Team Ministry.
