Bristol Central Mosque

The Owen Street Mosque moved into a building originally erected in 1901 at the City Street Mission. The congregation for the City Street Mission had dwindled to 12 people by 2001 and when planning permission to turn the building into flats was refused, the Bristol Central Mosque successfully gained permission to use the building as a mosque in 2003.
