Bosbury Probate Material before 1540

The Statute of Wills (1540) made it legal to devise (leave) certain types of land. After 1540 wills had to be in two forms - the will, dealing with moveable property, and the testament, dealing with real property. This is why most wills use the formula 'last will and testament'.
Unfortunately, there are very few surviving probate documents for Bosbury people before 1540.
